PDA ATC Challenge #'28, theme = broken pieces

Another small but creative set of entries for this theme proving that the members of PDA are on the ball, speaking artistically.
Although not an easy theme - after I set it, I had some difficulty knowing just where I was going - there were as intimated above some really fantastic entries. So without further ado, let me show you them.

PDA ATC challenge #27

Mmmmm, the theme this time was "Keeping a secret". It seems to have stumped a lot of people since the entry was down this month after a succession of relatively good months. Or it could have been the fact that I had to take a little time off for family reasons - not being there to crack the whip. Whatever, I was not really sure what this theme would bring but decided to go with it.

The entries were:-

 by Cynthia

 by John
Can you keep a secret on the phone?

 by John, again
Some secrets are hard to keep

 by Lydia
including one of her fabulous envelopes

by Tee

So there you have it, don't forget that PDA is a friendly, growing community with lots of different group where members can join in with many different aspects of mixed media art. AND there is a hohst of free, high resolution images from Kim Newberg.

ATC Challenge/swap theme = altered photo

It's that time again when I come here to post the entries for the PDA ATC challenge / swap. Challenge #26 was on a theme of altered photos. The results were a little off what I had expected but since I give the entrants free rein to interpret the theme, perhaps I should not complain. I had expected some devious techniques and methods of altering the surface of a photo but no one either interpreted it that way or chickened out. However the resulting entries were of the usual high quality.

Here are the entries for this challenge:-

Again all I can say in the light of these entries is thank you to all the members of PDA who took part and I hope that you will be delighted with your trade from this challenge. For those who don't know the challenge, partners are allotted randomly at the end of the challenge. there is always a little excitement, hoping that you will be trading for "the one that you most would like". Sometimes it works out but I at least have always been pleased with the cards which I have "won".

Why not slip along to PDA (Paper Digital Art and ImagesbyKim ) and get to know this great community. Lots of groups with something to please everyone and lots of free images to download. Membership required but not necessary for browsing. Finf more information in the ATC and ACEO Artists Group.
