PDA ATC challenge/swap 40 ( theme = Angels)

This must be a recurring theme in the annals of artist trading card challenges, Angels. It gives so much scope for all sorts of interpretations but most provide the winged humanoids that we all recognise. I was interested to see if this would uncover any other different interpretations. You be the judge!

The first card is
by Amanda

This one is by Frances, and yes wings but a child
which is also a much worked theme

A more gothic treatment from John

And a second by John, reverting back to form

A cherub from Kaylene

Another young child from Rosie

And finally a more traditional
treatment from Tee

A wide selection of types of images but maybe there were a few interpretations which were missing, what are they? Well I might just use a similar theme again in the future so for now I will keep the ideas to myself.

The atc's were as usual very good but I think I am thinking along the lines of techniques for challenges in the near future, hopefully we can stretch the artistic abilities of our small band. I, for one, feel that I am getting into a rut of using paper collage and a combination of one or two other bits and pieces. If you have any favourite ideas for interesting techniques, I would love to hear about them.

For any potential new members to this happy band, browse across to PDA (Paper Digital Art) and find out if there is anything on the site which catches your fancy. ATC's are a very small part of the artistic output of the members of the site. There are some 20 individual groups on the site which include free to use images, a board for sales to members and specific art/craft projects which may hopefully take your fancy. Hope to see you there.
